Each device takes on a role — a lobby kiosk, an officer's patrol phone, or a manager's console. No app store required: the platform installs from the browser and locks down to a single purpose.
The app routes each device by role — no configuration per device.
A fixed tablet at the front desk or building entrance for visitor self check-in.
A phone carried by guards for checkpoint scans, tours, and incident reports.
A laptop or desktop for reporting, compliance, billing, and settings.
Takes under five minutes per device. Repeat for every entrance.
1 · Connect to Wi-Fi
Power on the device and join the property's secure network. Kiosks need a stable connection to stream the live check-in lens.
2 · Open the app URL
Launch the browser and visit your LobbyID link. Sign in once, then choose Kiosk mode for a lobby tablet.
3 · Add to Home Screen
iOS: Share → Add to Home Screen. Android: ⋮ menu → Add to Home screen. The icon opens full-screen like a native app.
4 · Lock the device down
iOS Guided Access or Android Screen Pinning keeps the app in kiosk mode so visitors can't leave it.
A kiosk is only as reliable as where you mount it. Follow these placement rules for a clean, tamper-proof install.
Mount the tablet 48–52 in (122–132 cm) high so a standing visitor can comfortably scan and tap. Angle it 10–15° toward the main approach.
Face the screen away from windows and overhead lights. If the kiosk camera is used, backlight causes dark visitor photos — place the light source behind the device.
Route the charging cable inside the stand or wall. Keep the device plugged in at all times; kiosk mode suppresses the low-battery alert.
Use a bolted or adhesive-mount kiosk stand/enclosure that blocks access to the home button and ports. The device should be removable only by staff.
Recommended enclosures: any bolted or VHB-adhesive kiosk stand rated for the tablet model works — look for one that hides the cable, tilts forward, and blocks the physical home button. For unattended 24/7 lobbies, a lockable metal enclosure (not a soft case) is strongly advised.
Lock the tablet to a single app so it can't exit the kiosk. Choose your device family:
Install the same way — Add to Home Screen — then sign in. The app routes officers straight to the patrol dashboard for checkpoint scans, tours, and SOS. No lock-down needed; the phone stays personal to the guard.
No install at all. Open the link in any desktop browser, sign in, and you're on the full reporting and compliance dashboard. Bookmark it for convenience.
Create your account, pick a plan, and your kiosk goes live the same day.
